I just arrived in Quito and the views are KILLING ME

After a fairly quick flight from Atlanta (approximately 5 hours), and a breeze through the very modern airport (new as of 2 1/2 years ago), I'm very surprised with Quito. I thought it was going to be something like Lima: congested, loud, sort of annoying. Quito has a small population of 2.5 million, and the architecture is stunning. The city is sprawling, built on hills, so there are commanding views from anywhere you stand. I'm excited to check it out the next few days! Here are some stunning photos I took. Yes, I said stunning. :)

This is just driving on a street, nothing special, but the views.. come on.
